TV1.EU supplies sessions from the 10th People´s Chamber of the GDR for the German Bundestag.

Freely elected 18 days before, the tenth People´s Chamber of the GDR was constituted on 5 April 1990. It met by 2 October of the same year - a day later, the German Democratic Republic entered the "field of application of the constitution". The 400 representatives assembled for plenary sessions 39 times to prepare for the reunification of Germany - and dissolve themselves as a Parliament. At 11.00 on Thursday 18 March 2010, the Bundestag launched on-line access to a People´s Chamber media centre on its Internet site. Bundestag President Prof. Dr. Lammert announced this offering to the press on Tuesday 16 March.
TV1.EU has been technology partner to the Bundestag since the beginning of 2009 for live and on-demand streaming for TV coverage of the Parliament. For the extended offering of the "People´s Chamber media centre", a total of around 200 hours of video material were converted into the latest internet-compatible formats and a range of band widths. TV1.EU also ensures that individual content can be found quickly and easily in the media centre via the search function.

Michael Westphal, CEO of TV1.EU: "We are delighted with our collaboration with the German Bundestag. With the material from the 10th People´s Chamber of the GDR, the parliament TV archive will be enhanced by an important piece of contemporary history."
